A faithful sonic reproduction of the vintage M49B, our latest UM-Series microphone has the same signature smooth highs, exceptional midrange clarity, and rounded deep low-end as the original. Although its large, rich and dark character is ideally suited for vocals, a continuously adjustable pattern control ensures the UM49B can also perform as a truly versatile studio all-rounder.
Handbuilt to order, the UM49B is designed to be one of the highest quality microphones available today. The components used are identical to our RS Series, and the UM49B can at any time be traded in towards the RS4 (M49B version).
